Getting In and Around

- There is step-free level access at the most accessible entrance.
- The following areas have step-free access via ramps or slopes: at points along the pathway (slight gradients), and access to the far side of the kiln (steep gradient).
- The following areas have stepped access: the kiln, overcome by using the steep slope on the far side of the kiln.
- Access throughout may include uneven surfaces.
- There are no toilet facilities.

- The car park is located off North Road.
- The car park is open air/surface.
- The car park surface consists of tarmac.

- There is a dropped kerb without tactile paving from the designated Blue Badge parking.

Access Point (Llanymynech Heritage Area Car Park)
- This access point is located at the rear of the car park.
- The approach to the access point has uneven surfaces.
- The access point is not clearly signed.
- There is step-free level access.
- There is an open gap.
- The width of the opening is 137cm.
Llanymynech Heritage Area
- The walk is approximately 1km long.
- The route is circular and runs in an anti-clockwise direction.
- There is limited signage to indicate the route.
- The width of the pathways varies between 200cm to a minimum of 80cm; some of the pathways are obstructed by vegetation.
- Latch gates are located at points along the pathways.
- The surface of the pathways is compacted earth, some with fine loose chippings on top. Other trails have a grass surface.
- Bench seating is located at the Education Centre and at other points along the walk.
- There are a set of deep steps to access the kiln. Step-free access via a steep slope is located on the far side of the kiln.
