Access To (Court Room and Council Chamber)

  • The Court Room and Council Chamber are on the first floor of the Guildhall.
  • The journey time from the main entrance gate, on the right side to the first floor is approximately 1 minute.
  • The most accessible route has steps, manual doors, doors permanently held open and bollards.
  • There is stepped access at the side entrance door, before the main staircase.
  • There is 1 step which is unmarked with no handrails.
  • There is a single manual door which is permanently held open.
  • The width of the opening is 90cm.

Stairs

  • The stairs surveyed are located to the left, after entering via the side entrance.
  • The Court Room and Council Chamber can be accessed by these stairs.
