Access Guide
Getting To (Ward 8)
- Ward 8 is located on level 2 of the main ward block.
- Ward 8 is approximately 4m from the Main Ward Block East Wing Lifts.
- The route from the multi-storey car park has a sloped path before crossing a service road.
After the crossing there are several bollards on the pathway that leads to Critical Care Complex and Acute Services Block entrance.

- Access to Ward 8 is via the Critical Care Complex and Acute Service Block entrance.
- Enter the hospital via the Critical Care Complex and Acute Services block entrance.
Enter the critical care complex lifts that are in front and to the right.
Take the lift to level 0.
On exiting the lift proceed along corridor that is to the left.
Follow this corridor until you reach a four-way junction, then turn right.
Continue to the very end of this corridor and the main ward block east wing lifts are located on the left.
Take the lift level 2.
As you exit the lift, turn left and the entrance to Ward 8 is directly ahead. - View further information about entrances (opens new tab)
- There is step free access, via lift, to Ward 8.
- Some flooring is shiny .
