West Wickham Station
- The station is approximately 1100m from the Bethlem Hospital.
- The surface of the path is tarmac.
- There is a moderate slope leading away from the station up to the crossing on to Beckenham Road.
West Wickham - Beckenham Road
- The push button is at a convenient height for wheelchair users.
- The surface of the crossing is tarmac with blocked paving either side.
- There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides of the crossing.
- A traffic island is located at the crossing with a strip of tactile paving.
- Cross the road on to Beckenham Road and turn right.
Beckenham Road - South Eden Park Road
- The surface of the path is a mixture of tarmac and block paving.
- There are easy slopes located along the pathway where it crosses residential driveways.
- Blakes Green Crossing has dropped curbs on both sides of the road with tactile paving.
- St Davids Close crossing has dropped curbs on both sides without tactile paving.
- After the St Davids Close crossing the road becomes South Eden Park Road.
- Continue along South Eden Road Park Road to the Monks Orchard Road crossing.
- There is a moderate slope leading down to the crossing.
Monks Orchard Road Crossing
- There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides of the crossing.
- A traffic island is located at the crossing with a strip of tactile paving.
Monks Orchard Road
- The surface of the path is block paving with areas of tarmac.
- The path is uneven in places.
- Continue to the Eden Way crossing.
Eden Way Crossing
- There are dropped curbs on both sides of the road without tactile paving.
- The surface of the crossing is tarmac.
Monks Orchard Road to Main Gate
- The surface of the path is block paving and then tarmac.
- The path is uneven in places and has an easy incline leading to the main gate.
- The pedestrian access gate is 127cm wide.
- There is an easy slope leading through the gate on to the main path.
- The pedestrian access gate opens away from you.
- The pedestrian access gate is permanently held open.
Main Gate Path To Main Reception
- The surface of the path is tarmac.
- It is uneven in places.
- At the service road crossing you turn left to cross the road.
- There are dropped kerbs without tactile paving on each side of the road.
- Cross the road using the marked crossing and then turn left into the sectioned off pedestrian access walkway to the main reception.
