Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The University is located within the St George's Hospital Site in Tooting, just off the A24, which joins the A3 and South Circular at Clapham with junction 9 of the M25. At Tooting Broadway, turn onto Garrett Land (A217) towards Wandsworth, then turn left onto Fountain Lane.
      St George’s is not located in the Congestion Charge zone.
    • The university does not have public car parking spaces. There is a limited amount of pay-and-display parking in the area.
  • By Bus View
    • There are several bus stops located directly outside the hospital site, and more on Tooting Broadway. Please see the University Website How To Get Here page for more details on the bus routes to the hospital.
  • By Train View
    • The nearest station is Tooting, served by Southern and Thameslink trains. It is just under a mile from the site, but can be accessed by taking bus 264 or 280 from the station to the Crammer Terrace stop, approximately 300 metres from the site.
      Earlsfield Station, served by South West Trains, is approximately 1.5 miles to the north of the site. From there take bus 270 to Wimbledon Road (Stop SJ), and then take bus G1 to the Hospital site.
  • By Underground View
    • Tooting Broadway station, on the Northern Line, is approximately half a mile from the University main entrance. Bus G1 can be caught from just outside the station to the University main entrance.
