Introduction
- Services / facilities within the building include a large sports hall with facilities for sports such as basketball or badminton, as well as a fitness suite within the building, available for use by membership holders.
- Services / facilities within the grounds include a full size field, for large games and sports, as well as a smaller sized pitch to accommodate smaller events.

Getting Here

By Road
View
- From the M6 motorway, take exit 16 following the signs for the A500/A52 City centre.
Turn left onto Stoke Road /A5006, then right onto Avenue Road.
At the next roundabout take the first exit onto College Road. - There is limited parking on College Road and further parking on Leek Road 5 minutes away. Permits are needed to park at these sites.

By Bus

- There are bus stops on College Road that stop outside the front of the Beacon Building. Bus links are 21a, 25, 6 and 6a.

Functional Training Room

- The closer entrance is a double set of heavy, manual doors that are 140cm wide. This is shown in photograph 1.
- The entrance in the fitness suite is a permanently held open, manual door that is 75cm wide. This is shown in photograph 2.
- The functional training room is used at varying, scheduled times for fitness classes or other group events but also acts as an additional fitness suite area.
Sports Hall
- There is a large sports hall on the left as you enter, opposite the entrance to the gym.
