Getting To The Hospital (Stepping Hill Hospital)

  • By Road View
    • Stepping Hill Hospital is located south of the town of Stockport.
      It can be easily accessed via the A6 Buxton Road from either the south or from Stockport Town centre.
      The post code for the Sat-Nav is SK2 7JE.
    • There are several patient and visitor car parks around the Hospital site.
      The car parks at Stepping Hill Hospital are open air car parks and 3 multi-storey car parks.
      Car parks 1 and 3 are two level parking. The top levels are only accessed by steps.
      There is Blue Badge Parking available in Car Park 4 and around the Hospital site near main entrances and services.
      There is on-street parking around the site and a ticket must be purchased from the machines next to the parking bays.
      Some of the parking areas are currently not in use due to site works.
  • By Bus View
    • The main Hospital bus stop is located off Poplar Grove.
      The services which stop at this bus stop are 192, 375 and 394.
      These services are run by High Peak Buses and Stagecoach.
      There are several other bus stops around the service roads which go around the hospital site.

    • There is a main bus stop just as you enter the Poplar Road site. There are also several others on the service roads around the site.
