Summary

Getting Help and Assistance View
- Subway is open 07:00 to 21:00 Monday to Sunday.
- There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.
- Water bowls for assistance dogs are available on request from the main building.
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
Access View
- Subway is located on the left after you enter the services building from the main entrance.
- There is step-free access to Subway.
- The entrance area is clearly signed.

Toilet Facilities View
- Accessible toilet facilities are located opposite the Channel Ports reception and close to the HGV entrance and standard toilets.

Service and Menus View
- There is a counter where food and drink can be ordered.
- Orders are placed at left hand side of the counter and then paid and collected from the right hand side of the counter.
- Staff cannot bring food and/or drinks to tables.
- Menu types include; picture wall menus and written wall menus.
- Menus are clearly written.
- Menus are presented in contrasting colours.
- Staff can read menus to customers if requested.
- The type of food served here is hot and cold subway sandwiches and snacks.
- Plastic/takeaway cups are available.
- Adapted cups are not available.
- Adapted cutlery is not available.
- Drinking straws are available.
- Background music is played throughout this area.
- There is not a hearing assistance system .
- There is a/are hand sanitiser(s) in this area.

Self-Service Touchscreens View

The seating area is located throughout the services building.
There is step-free access to the seating area.
There is sufficient space for a wheelchair user to use the seating area.
In this area there are a mixture of chairs with and without armrests, armchairs, bench seats and tables available.
Some chairs are fixed to the floor.
Some tables are fixed to the floor.
The standard height for the underside of tables is 73cm.
Music is played in some areas.
There is some flooring which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
Lighting levels are good.
