Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • Bede Campus is located on Durham Road 2.7 miles out of the city centre.
      It can be reached via the A690, A183 and A1231.
      The A1M is approximately 7 miles away and approximately 17 minutes drive.
      Leave the A1M at junction 64 and follow the A1231 towards the city centre.
      At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A19.
      Leave the A19 to take the A183 exit towards Sunderland/Chester-Le-Street.
      After approximately 2 miles at the mini roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the B1405.
      At the T-Junction turn left and follow the round for approximately 0.5 miles.
      Bede Campus is on the left.
    • There is on-site parking available for students, visitors and staff.
      There are Blue Badge spaces available.
      The car parking is free for all users.
      The car park is located to the right of the Bede Building.
  • By Bus View
    • Bus Number 3 leaves Sunderland John Street Bus station every 20 minutes.
