Access Guide
Overview
- The guide contains details of the car parks located on the Singleton Park Campus.
- Parking on campus is for permit holders and pre-arranged visitors between 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday.

The University operates an Automatic Numberplate Recognition (ANPR) system, which means that anyone parking on campus without a valid permit between these hours will receive a parking notice change. Outside of these hours it is pay to park on campus.

Campus Drop-off Point
- There is a designated drop-off point available.
- The designated drop-off point is located in the centre of the campus, to the right as you face Fulton House.
- The most accessible route from the drop-off point has a slight ramp or slope.
- There is a dropped kerb without tactile paving from the drop-off point.
Visitor Parking P1

- There are no designated Blue Badge parking bays available.

- Parking is not free for all users, including Blue Badge holders.
- Payment machines are located at the front of the car park.
- There is a payment machine with controls at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
- There is a level manoeuvring space for a wheelchair user in front of the payment machine (185cm x 210cm).

- Visitors wanting to use this car park need to contact the University to arrange access in advance. The University operate an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system. Any unauthorised parking will receive a parking charge notice.

- There is a marked zone to one side and the rear.
- The width of the marked zone is 130cm.
- The nearest designated bay is 57m from Singleton Abbey Stable Block Main Entrance.
- The most accessible route from the Blue Badge parking has slight slopes.
- This route has uneven surfaces and narrow walkways.
- The narrow walkway leading from the Blue Badge bays is a marked path on the road. This is actually marked as a cycle path, so care will need to be taken when using this.

- The Blue Badge bays are signposted and have markings which are faded.
- The surveyed Blue Badge parking bay dimensions are 230cm (width) x 490cm (depth).
- The dimensions of the designated Blue Badge parking bays vary in size.
- There is a marked zone to both sides but not at the rear.
- The width of the marked zone is 130cm.
- The nearest designated bay is 61m from the Taliesin Arts Centre Theatre entrance.
- The most accessible route from the Blue Badge parking has slight slopes.
- There is a dropped kerb without tactile paving from the designated Blue Badge parking.
- Permit holders only can park here between 08:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday, but some permit holders will still need to pay for parking.
- After these hours, it is pay to park in this car park. Visitors to the theatre can get their parking validated in the Theatre Box Office.
