Overview

  • The guide contain details of the car parks located on the Bay Campus.
    Parking on campus is for permit holders and pre-arranged visitor between 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday. The University operates an Automatic Numberplate Recognition (ANPR) system, which means that anyone parking on campus without a valid permit between these hours will receive a parking notice change. Outside of these hours it is pay to park on campus.

Visitor Parking

    • The car park is located to the left after you enter the campus at the main entrance, off Fabian Way.
    • The car park is open air/surface.
    • The car park surface consists of tarmac.
    • There are 7 designated Blue Badge parking bays available.
    • The Blue Badge bays are clearly marked.
    • The surveyed Blue Badge parking bay dimensions are 232cm (width) x 478cm (depth).
    • There is a marked zone to both sides and rear.
    • The width of the marked zone is 130cm.
    • The nearest designated bay is 60m from Centre for Integrative Semiconductor Materials.
    • The most accessible route from the Blue Badge parking has step-free level access.
    • This route also has bollards.
    • There is a dropped kerb with tactile paving from the designated Blue Badge parking.
  • Charges and Restrictions View
    • This car park is for visitors and Blue Badge holders only.
    • Parking is not free for all users, including Blue Badge holders.
    • Payment machines are located throughout the car park and close to the Blue Badge parking bays.
    • There is not a payment machine with controls at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
