Getting To The Hospital (Mount Vernon Hospital Main Building)

  • By Road View
    • Mount Vernon Hospital is located on Rickmansworth Road to the north west of Harrow. The postcode to use for the Sat-Nav is HA6 2RN. From the west, Mount Vernon Hospital can be accessed via the M25, Denham Way, A412 and A404. From the east, Mount Vernon Hospital can be accessed via West Street from the A232.
    • Car parking for visitors and patients is located around the hospital site. Charges do not apply for Blue Badge holders in this car park. Free additional parking bays for Blue Badge holders are located at the front of the hospital with a drop off point.
  • By Bus View
    • 282: Mount Vernon Hospital - Ealing Hospital 311: Ruislip Station - Belmont Road H11: Harrow Bus Station - Mount Vernon Hospital R1/R2: Maple Cross - Downings Wood - Mount Vernon Hospitals The 282 stops at underground services. These are Northolt (Central), Eastcote Station (Metropolitan and Piccadilly) and Northwood Hills Station (Metropolitan). The 311 stops at both underground and national rail services. These are Ruislip Station (Metropolitan and Piccadilly), Northwood Station (Metropolitan) and Station Parade (National Rail).
    • There is an onsite bus stop.
    • Mount Vernon Hospital has two onsite bus stops, and two bus stops located on White Hill at one of the access roads to the hospital. The onsite bus stops are located next to the Mount Vernon treatment Centre.

    • From the bus stop use the covered walkway next to the Treatment Centre and continue along the hospital access road.     • The closest train station is Rickmansworth which is approximately 3 miles from the hospital.
  • By Underground View
    • The nearest underground station is Northwood station on the Northern line (fare zone 6). The 311 bus route connects Mount Vernon Hospital with Northwood station and has a day time frequency of one bus every 12 minutes. The journey itself takes 9 minutes.
