Overview

  • Getting In and Around View
    • There is step-free access via a very easy slope at the most accessible entrance.
    • There is step-free level access throughout the majority of areas, this may include the use of a lift.
    • The following areas have step-free access via ramps or slopes: the ground floor toilet with adaptations, male and female standard toilets, access to the stairs, the members' reception lift, the third floor female standard toilets and the cigar terrace.
    • The following areas have stepped access: the Galadari Terrace.
    • Access throughout may include manual doors and narrow walkways.
    • The ground, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th floors can be accessed via a standard lift and stairs.

Toilet and Changing Facilities

  • Toilet Facilities View
    • There are 3 toilets with adaptations.
    • The toilets with adaptations are located in the terrace spectator seating area, on the ground floor, on the second floor and on the third floor.
    • The transfer space varies between left and right in the toilets with adaptations.
    • Ambulant toilet facilities are located in the terrace spectator seating area.
    • Female and male step-free standard toilet facilities are located on the ground, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th floors.

Entrance (Members' Reception Entrance)

  • This entrance is located at the front of the pavilion.
  • The entrance area is clearly signed.
  • There is not a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at the entrance.
  • There is step-free access via a very easy slope at the entrance.
  • There are double automatic doors.
  • The doors are permanently held open.
  • The width of the opening is 115cm.
  • There is a small lip on the threshold of the opening.
  • The doors have a high colour contrast.

Entrance (Members' Entrance)

  • This entrance is located to the right side of the pavilion.
  • The entrance area is clearly signed.
  • There is step-free access via a very easy slope at the entrance.
  • There are double manual doors.
  • The doors are permanently held open.
  • The width of the opening is 128cm.
  • The doors have a high colour contrast.

Reception

  • Location View
    • The reception is located to the left as you enter via the members' reception entrance.
    • The distance from the members' reception entrance is 7m.
  • Route View
    • The most accessible route to the reception has step-free level access.
    • There are no doors to open along the most accessible route.
  • Access View
    • There is step-free level access to the reception.
    • The height of the reception desk is 115cm.
    • There is a lowered section at the desk.
    • The height of the lowered section is 72cm.
    • The reception has a television and patterned/distracting backgrounds which may affect the ability of someone to lip read.
    • There is a clearly signed fixed hearing assistance system.
    • The hearing assistance system was tested and working at the time of the survey.
    • There is no (or very little) background noise in this area.
    • Some flooring is shiny.
    • Lighting levels were uneven at the time of the survey, with pools of light and shade.

Getting Around

  • Access View
    • There is step-free access between floors via lift.
