Getting to the NEC and Useful Information
Generic (Car Parking Information)
- The Disabled Parking is located off Perimeter Road and North Avenue. On some events Hall 16 is used for Disabled Parking. If parking fees are applicable on event days, then there will also be a fee for the Blue Badge parking. Parking can either be pre-booked or pay on the day. - The venue does have its own parking facilities.
- The car park is located off Perimeter Road.
- The car park type is open air/surface.
- The car park does not have a height restriction barrier.
- The car park does have a barrier control system.
- There is a touchscreen at the barrier.
- The car park surface is tarmac and block paving.
- Clearly marked/signposted parent and child parking bays are not available.
- There are additional car parks for visitors.

Blue Badge Parking

- The marked zones around the Blue Badge parking bay(s) have at least the recommended width of 120cm.
- The dimensions of other designated Blue Badge parking bay(s) vary in size.
- For visitor requiring assistance there is a shelter with a call point, which can be used to request assistance.
The height of the call point is 114cm.

- There is a payment machine at a convenient height for wheelchair users.
- There is a level turning space (minimum 185cm x 210cm) in front of the payment machine(s).

Drop Off/Pick Up and Taxi Rank
- There are taxi ranks and drop off areas located at the front of the Piazza and Atrium.
- If you are arriving by taxi and have your Blue Badge with you, you will be able to be dropped off at the Piazza or Atrium.
- If you also require a pick up, please advise the taxi firm that you have a Blue Badge and the taxi will be permitted to pick you up from the main entrances. If you are using a T.O.A black cab you will be picked up at the ranks by the main entrances.
Pedestrian Access
- There are pedestrian walkways leading from the VIP and Disabled Parking to Atrium.
- The Perimeter Road Disabled Parking is approximately 120m to the nearest Piazza entrance.
- The North Avenue Disabled Parking opposite Hall 12 is approximately 240m to nearest Atrium entrance.
- The North Avenue Disabled Parking opposite Hall 17 is approximately 140m to nearest Atrium entrance.
- Follow the finger post signage to the halls.
- The routes to the entrances involve crossing either Perimeter Road or North Avenue. Caution is advised when crossing.
