Car Park Information

  • The East Car Parks include E1, E3, E4 and E5.
  • The car parks are located off Pendigo Way.
  • There are parking charges.
  • If parking fees are applicable on event days, then there will also be a fee for the Blue Badge parking.
  • Parking can either be pre-booked or pay on the day.

Toilet and Changing Facilities

  • Toilet Facilities View
    • There is 1 toilet with adaptations.
    • The toilet with adaptations is located next to car park E1.
    • The toilet with adaptations has a right hand transfer space.
    • Female and male standard toilet facilities with stepped access are located next to car park E1.

Parking (E1, E3, E4 and E5)

  • Car Park View
    • The car park is located to the east of the NEC.
    • The car park is open air/surface.
    • The car park surface consists of tarmac.
    • There are no designated Blue Badge parking bays available.
  • Charges and Restrictions View
    • Parking is not free for all users, including Blue Badge holders.
    • Payment machines are located inside the main building.
    • There is a payment machine with controls at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
    • There is a level manoeuvring space for a wheelchair user in front of the payment machine (185cm x 210cm).

  • Electric Vehicle Charging Points View
    • There are 5 electric vehicle charging points designated for Blue Badge holders.
    • The dimensions of the surveyed electric vehicle charging bay designated for Blue Badge holders are 240cm (width) x 486cm (depth).
    • The controls for the Blue Badge charging points are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
    • The nozzle holster for the Blue Badge charging points is not at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
    • You do not need an online account to use the charging point.
    • Payment can be made with a credit/debit card (contactless), with a membership/loyalty card (contactless) and via an app.
    • The electric vehicle charging points are located in Car Park E3.

  • Access View
    • There is step-free level access into the facility.
    • There is pictorial signage on or near the door.
    • The door opens outwards and has a high colour contrast.
    • The door is easy to open.
    • The width of the opening is 78cm.
    • The door has a locking handle.
    • Internally the door has a high colour contrast.
    • There is a grab rail on the internal door, with a high colour contrast.
  • Dimensions and Features View
    • The dimensions of the cubicle are 142cm (width) x 205cm (depth).
    • There is not room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre.
    • There is a lateral transfer space to the right as you face the toilet, however it is obstructed.
    • The lateral transfer space is 74cm (from the side of the toilet pan).
    • There is a lever flush for the toilet.
    • The flush is on the transfer side.
    • There is a horizontal grab rail on the non-transfer side.
    • The horizontal grab rail has a medium colour contrast.
    • There is no vertical grab rail for the toilet.
    • There is a dropdown grab rail on the transfer side.
    • The dropdown grab rail has a high colour contrast.
    • The toilet seat is 46cm from the floor.
    • The toilet seat has a low colour contrast.

Pedestrian Routes

  • There are pedestrian walkways leading from the east car parks to the Piazza.
  • The east car parks are approximately 750m to 1.1km to the nearest Piazza entrance.
  • There is a shuttle bus service from the car parks to the Piazza.
  • Please follow the finger post signage to the halls.
  • From Car Parks E1 to E4 there are subways available to bypass crossing Pendigo Way.
  • From Car Parks E5 the walkway crosses East Way. Caution is advised when crossing.

Shuttle Bus

  • There is a shuttle bus service from the east car parks to the Atrium and Piazza.
  • Buses usually run from one hour before the show opens to one hour after the closing time.
  • Please check the electronic signage at the bus stops for live information.
  • There are wheelchair accessible kneeling buses available.
  • The shuttle bus stops are located at Car Parks E1 and E4.
