Car Park Information

  • The South Car Parks include S1, S2, S3, S5, S6 and S7.
  • The car parks are located off Pendigo Way.
  • There are parking charges.
  • If parking fees are applicable on event days, then there will also be a fee for the Blue Badge parking.
  • Parking can either be pre-booked or paid on the day.

Toilet and Changing Facilities

  • Toilet Facilities View
    • There is 1 toilet with adaptations.
    • The toilet with adaptations is located in Car Park S2.
    • The toilet with adaptations has a right hand transfer space.
    • Ambulant toilet facilities are located in Car Park S2.
    • Female and male step-free standard toilet facilities are located in Car Park S2.

Parking (S1, S2, S3, S5, S6 and S7)

  • Car Park View
    • The car park is located to the south side of the NEC site.
    • The car park is open air/surface.
    • The car park surface consists of tarmac.
    • There are no designated Blue Badge parking bays available.
  • Charges and Restrictions View
    • Parking is not free for all users, including Blue Badge holders.
    • Payment machines are located at the front of the car park and inside the venue.
    • There is a payment machine with controls at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
    • There is a level manoeuvring space for a wheelchair user in front of the payment machine (185cm x 210cm).

  • Electric Vehicle Charging Points View
    • There are no electric vehicle charging points designated for Blue Badge holders.
    • There is 1 electric vehicle charging point.
    • The dimensions of the electric vehicle charging bay are 230cm (width) x 468cm (depth).
    • The controls are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
    • The nozzle holster is not at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
    • An online account is required to use the charging point.
    • Payment can be made with a credit/debit card (contactless), with a membership/loyalty card (contactless) and via an app.

    • The door opens outwards and has a high colour contrast.
    • The door requires effort to open.
    • The width of the opening is 79cm.
    • The door has a locking handle.
    • Internally the door has a high colour contrast.
    • There is a grab rail on the internal door, with a low colour contrast.
  • Dimensions and Features View
    • The dimensions of the cubicle are 197cm (width) x 211cm (depth).
    • There is not room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre.
    • There is a lateral transfer space to the right as you face the toilet, however it is obstructed.
    • The lateral transfer space is 128cm (from the side of the toilet pan).
    • There is a spatula flush for the toilet.
    • The flush is on the transfer side.
    • There is a horizontal grab rail on the non-transfer side.

Pedestrian Access

  • There are pedestrian walkways leading from the south car parks to the Piazza.
  • The south car parks are approximately 550m to 900m to the nearest Piazza entrance.
  • There is a shuttle bus service from the car parks to the Piazza.
  • Please follow the finger post signage to the halls.
  • From the south car park, the walkway crosses South Car Park Road and Perimeter Road. Please note caution is advised when crossing.

Shuttle Bus Service

  • There is a shuttle bus service from the south car parks to the Atrium and Piazza.
  • Buses usually run from one hour before the show opens to one hour after the closing time.
  • Please check the electronic signage at the bus stops for live information.
  • There are wheelchair accessible kneeling buses available.
  • The shuttle bus stop is located at car park S3.
