The following information describes the picnic area located at various points in the park.
Access into the area is via slight ramps/slopes.
The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
There are picnic tables.
No chairs have armrests on both sides.
Adapted picnic tables are not available.
The distance between the floor and the underside of the lowest picnic table is 62cm.
The distance between the floor and the underside of the highest picnic table is 78cm.
The surface height of the lowest table is 66cm.
The surface height of the highest table is 82cm.
The following furniture is permanently fixed: all of the tables.

The surface in the picnic area is not smooth and even.

The walk is approximately 4.2km.
The walk commences at the entrance on Newport Road and follows the western edge of the park. The path crosses the Grand Union Canal before circling a field and returning to the bridge. From there the path follows the northern edge of the park eastwards before turning and returning to the car park via the eastern edge of the park and the children's playground.
The trail is open 24 hours.
None of the paths are lit at night.
The route includes the following surfaces: grass, concrete and compacted gravel.
Some of the route contains steep gradients and very uneven surfaces.
These are found in the following areas: at various points along the paths.
