Accommodation Overview

  • About View
    • Woodlands is a self-contained accommodation building with accessible facilities and equipment. It has been designed to cater for groups which include those with additional needs and is located with fantastic views down our fields and into mature woodland overlooking the Sky Ropes and Yurt.
    • There are 2 bedrooms in total.
    • There is step-free level access to all bedrooms.
    • There is 1 bedroom with adaptations.
    • There is step-free level access to the bedroom with adaptations.
    • A Maxi Sky remote controlled ceiling mounted hoist system (maximum weight 200kg) with a 2 point loop spreader bar (please bring your own slings) is available which connects the accessible bedroom to the en-suite shower room.
    • None of the bedrooms with adaptations have adjoining rooms.
    • The bedroom with adaptations has an ensuite with a wheel-in shower.
    • Only assistance dogs are welcomed at this venue.

    • There is step-free level access at the most accessible entrance.
    • There is step-free level access throughout.
    • Access throughout may include manual doors.
    • The following facilities are available: a seat/chair, portable hoists, panic alarm, bath mats, a water bowl for assistance dogs, commodes and mobility scooter charging facilities.
    • Additional equipment which can be borrowed or hired includes: an Invacare Accent single profiling bed, a Chiltern Invadex TRT3 shower trolley, an Etac Clean shower commode chair & belt.
    • Staff receive the following training: Outdoor First Aid Training.

Parking

  • There is 1 designated Blue Badge parking bay available.

Entrance

  • There is the possibility to add a foldout bed in this room.

Seating Area (Decked Area)

  • The seating area is located outside of the accommodation.
  • The seating area is uncovered.
