Getting To (Orthotics - Location 29)

  • The most accessible route from Visitors Car Park B has a slight ramp or slope, uneven surfaces, a dropped kerb with tactile paving, bollards and a pedestrian crossing.

  • Orthotics is located towards the end of main hospital corridor, at Location 29.
  • Orthotics is approximately 200m from the Main Accessible entrance.
  • Enter the hospital via the Main Accessible entrance and proceed straight ahead past the reception desk.
  • Continue to the rear of the Main Accessible entrance foyer and turn right.
  • Follow the main hospital corridor, going down the long very easy slope.
  • Continue ahead to Location 29, then turn left and go up the slight slope.
  • Proceed to the end of the corridor and the entrance to Orthotics - Location 29 is located straight ahead.
  • Internally the most accessible route has slight ramps or slopes and doors permanently held open.
  • Some flooring along the route is shiny and patterned.
  • There are resting areas along the route.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided.
  • Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.
