Getting To The Hospital (Rotherham Hospital)

  • By Road View
    • Rotherham Hospital is located on Moorgate Road (A618) to the south of Rotherham.
      From the M1 take junction 33 onto the A630 towards Rotherham.
      At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A631 signposted Rotherham Hospital.
      At the traffic lights turn left onto the A618, Moorgate Road.
      The hospital is located on the left hand side of the road and is well signed.
      From the M18 take junction 1 onto the A631 towards Rotherham. Continue along the A631 across 3 roundabouts and at the traffic lights turn right onto the A618, Moorgate Road, towards Rotherham. The hospital is located on the left hand side of the road and is well signed.
      From A630 north of the town, proceed towards Rotherham and travel through the town centre, heading towards the M1. At Rotherway Roundabout take the first exit onto the A631, signposted Rotherham Hospital. At the traffic lights turn left onto the A618, Moorgate Road. The hospital is located on the left hand side of the road and is well signed.
    • There are a number of visitor car parks located throughout the site. Some car parks are for Blue Badge holders only.
      From 19 July 2021, the following charges will apply: Up to 30 mins Free 30 mins – 1 hour £2.10 1 – 2 hours £3.20 2 – 4 hours £4.60 4 – 6 hours £5.70 6 – 24 hours £7.00 For Blue Badge holders parking is free.
      All car parks are open air parking. There are some uneven surfaces within the car parks and on the pedestrian exits.

    • Buses 19, 19A, 19a, 20, 26, 27, 29, 29a, and 673 all stop outside the hospital on Moorgate Road and Baker Street.
