Introduction

Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The Easter Bush Campus is located off Bush Farm Road, Edinburgh, Midlothian, EH25 9RG.
    • There are car parks around Easter Bush Campus with permit holder parking available for staff, students, visitors and clients.
      The Transport and Parking Office of the University of Edinburgh manages parking at the University. University car parks are for the use of permit holders only and are subject to the university’s parking regulations.
  • By Bus View
    • Buses stop at the Veterinary Teaching Building.
      The following Lothian Buses serve the Easter Bush Campus directly.
      You should board at the bus stops outside the Veterinary teaching building.
      Lothian Buses Service 15 / X15, Lothian Buses Service 37, Lothian Buses Service 67.
      Bus stops at Gowkley Moss/Easter Howgate Farm Lothian Buses N37, X37 and 47 serve the Easter Bush Campus at Gowkley Moss. You should board at the Gowkley Moss Roundabout bus stop on A701 Seafield Road. This is approximately 20 minutes walk from the Easter Bush Campus.
      Stagecoach bus service 101 & 102 serves the Easter Bush Campus at Easter Howgate Farm. You should board at the Easter Howgate Farm bus stop on A702. This is approximately 20 minutes walk from the Easter Bush Campus. Lothian Buses Service N37, Lothian Buses Service X37, Lothian Buses Service 47, Stagecoach Western Service 101 & 102
  • By Train View
    • The Easter Bush Campus is approximately eight miles from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station. Buses can be taken from the station to the campus.
      Edinburgh has rail links throughout the UK. The East Coast mainline, which links Edinburgh and London King’s Cross, is the UK's fastest intercity railway: you can travel between the cities in around 4 hours. Or, if you prefer to travel overnight, a sleeper service runs between London Euston and Edinburgh Waverley 6 nights a week.
      There are great links to other cities too. The journey to Glasgow only takes 45 minutes, while York, Newcastle or Aberdeen can be reached in about 2 hours.
      All trains arrive at Waverley Station in the centre of the city, although some trains also stop at Haymarket, which is a smaller station in the West End.
