Access Guide
Resort Information
- The resort is located north of Paphos, in the west of Cyprus.
- The 232 room resort consists of one 3-storey main building and 36 2-storey accommodation blocks. It is accessible via level pathways, slopes and ramps of varying degrees and some steps. There is one lift in the main building only.
- This resort has the following facilities: swimming pools and restaurants.
- The resort has 232 rooms available. None of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
- Adjoining rooms are not available.
- There are 2 restaurants.
- There are 4 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: toilets with some adaptations for disabled people and step-free standard toilets.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found on level -1 and level 1 via lift.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found on level -1, level 1 and in the pool area.
- Baby change facilities can be found within the male and female standard toilets on level -1 and level 1 via lift and in the pool area.
- There is no medication fridge.
- Guests cannot hire mobility equipment from the resort.
- Guests can hire mobility equipment locally.
- The resort has a list of local suppliers.
- Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.
- Guests can store and charge their mobility scooters in their rooms.
- We have been told that assistance dogs are not allowed in the resort.
- This resort is aware of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme.
- There is not a Safe/Quiet Place available in the resort.
- WiFi is available throughout the resort.
- The beach is approximately 6 minutes walk outside of the resort via sloped pathways.

- The following areas do not have step-free access: the guest rooms in the accommodation blocks.
Entrance
- The entrance to the resort is located at the front of the building.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the resort.
- The ramp is slight, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.
- The width of the door opening is 176cm.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
- The width of the rear exit door is 106cm. The height of the reception desk is 108cm.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception, bars, restaurants, a gym and sports courts.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs and lift.
- There is step-free level access to the main buffet restaurant, the rear exit door in reception and the lift.
There is step-free level access via lift to the toilets with adaptations for disabled people, the standard toilets, the gym, the spa and the indoor pool. - There is step-free access via a slight ramp to the main entrance doors.
- The floors that can be accessed from the lift are -1, 0 and 1.
- The lift door opening width is 90cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 110cm x 160cm.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Level -1 - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet, via lift.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 85cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 200cm x 194cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 114cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Grab rails in the toilet include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side and a vertical rail on the right side of the wash basin.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a soap dispenser and a towel dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a pedal bin.
- There are no coat hooks.
Toilet (Level -1)
- The female toilet was surveyed.
- There is also a male toilet in the same location.
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
