Resort Information
- This adults-only resort is located in Nea Kydonia on the northwest coast of Crete.
- The accomodation is spread over 4 three-storey buildings and is accessible via level pathways and slopes in the grounds and lifts within the building.
- This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, beach access, swimming pools and restaurants.
- The resort has 213 rooms available. 3 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
- Adjoining rooms are not available.
- There are 5 restaurants.
- There are 4 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: toilets with some adaptations for disabled people and standard toilets.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found within the male and female toilets in the reception lobby, near the restaurants and in the pool area.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found in the reception lobby, near the restaurants and in the pool area.
- There is a medication fridge at the reception.
- Guests cannot hire mobility equipment from the resort.
- Guests can hire mobility equipment locally.
- The resort has a list of local suppliers.
- Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.
- Mobility scooters can be charged and stored in the luggage area near reception.
- We have been told that assistance dogs are allowed in most areas of the resort.

Entrance
- The entrance to the resort is located on either side of the revolving door.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the resort.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with a handrail on the right going up.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which open both ways.
- The width of the door opening is 99cm.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception, restaurants and a gym.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via lift.
- The floors that can be accessed from the lift are the third, the second and the ground floor.
- The lift door opening width is 80cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 105cm x 200cm.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception Lobby - Left Hand Transfer - Male)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is tactile and pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 95cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it, but it is obstructed.
- The lateral transfer space is 85cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the non transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a soap dispenser and a towel dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- The cubicle has a waste bin with lid and a pedal bin.
- There is one coat hook.
- The coat hooks for standing users are at the recommended height.
- There is a similar, but opposite toilet available in the female facility next door.
