Access Guide
Resort Information
- The resort is located in Kalamaki, in the south of the Greek island of Zante.
- The 140-room adults-focused hotel is spread over two levels, which are accessible via lifts. The pathways around the resort are mostly step-free and level, with some ramps of varying degrees.
- This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, swimming pools and a restaurant.
- The resort has 140 rooms available. 5 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
- Adjoining rooms are not available.
- There are 2 restaurants.
- There are 2 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: toilets with some adaptations for disabled people and step-free standard toilets.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found level 0 (via lift from the reception lobby).
- Standard toilet facilities can be found level 0 (via lift from the reception lobby) and in the pool area.
- There is a medication fridge available on request.
- Guests cannot hire mobility equipment from the resort.

Entrance
- The entrance to the resort is located at the front of the main building.
- There is step-free level access at the entrance, via lift to the building.
- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
- There is a lift which bypasses the steps and ramp.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 166cm.
- There is a second set of manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 166cm.
- There is a ramped kerb from the coach drop-off point. There is also a slight ramp before the lift to reception level and before the steep ramp to access the main entrance doors.
The lift measurements are: door width 90cm, interior width 95cm, interior depth 180cm.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
- The height of the reception desk is 116cm. The width of the rear exit doors is 183cm.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception, bars and restaurants.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs and lift.
- There is step-free level access from the reception lobby to the restaurant, the main bar and the lifts.

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Level 0 - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet, via lift.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens outwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 100cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 135cm x 260cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 60cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).

- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a hand dryer and a soap dispenser.
