Getting to the Room

  • The average walking time to the room is 5 minutes.
  • From reception there is step free access across the main building lobby, there are automatic doors from the building to the grounds. There is bridge which crosses the main pool. From the bridge the path goes left passing building 5000 and the Medusa and Corali Bars. After the bar take the path to the left which leads to building 3000.
  • The most accessible route to the room has a steep ramp/slope.
  • The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are over 180cm.
  • Some flooring on the route is shiny.
  • There are club carts available for all guests, which are used to overcome the ramp/slope.
  • The buggies cannot be transferred into from a wheelchair.

Room (3034)

  • This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 3 rooms of this type in the resort.
  • All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
  • There is step-free access into the room, via a ramp.
  • The slope is steep between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast.
  • The room door opening is 78cm wide.
  • The bed type is made from two single beds pushed together.
  • The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
  • The space under the bed is 23cm high.
  • There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
  • There is hard flooring.
  • Seating in the room includes: a chair without armrests.
