Access Guide
Resort Information
- The beachfront resort is located in Riviera Maya on the east coast of Mexico.
- The resort provides accommodation in several four-storey buildings and is mostly accessible via step-free level pathways, with some ramps of varying degrees. There are lifts to reach some of the floors around the resort.
- This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, beach access, swimming pools and restaurants.
- The resort has 423 rooms available. 2 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
- Adjoining rooms are not available.
- There are 7 restaurants.
- There are 4 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people and step-free standard toilets.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found next to the a la carte restaurant on the second floor.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found in the reception lobby, in the pool area, next to the main restaurant.
- Baby change facilities can be found within the female standard toilets and within the toilet with adaptations for disabled people on the second floor.
- There is a medication fridge available on request.
- Guests cannot hire mobility equipment from the resort.
- Guests can hire mobility equipment locally.
- The resort has a list of local suppliers.
- Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.
- Guests can store and charge their mobility scooters in the reception lobby.
- We have been told that assistance dogs are not allowed in the resort.

On-site Facilities

Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception and restaurants.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs and lift.
- There is step-free level access to the main entrance doorway, the reception lobby, the standard toilets, the lift and the rear open doorway.
There is step-free level access via lift to some of the standard guest rooms and the rooms with adaptations for disabled people. - The floors that can be accessed from the lift are 0 to 4.
- The lift door opening width is 88cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 95cm x 140cm.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (2nd Floor - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet, via lift.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a medium colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 120cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 150cm x 200cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 130cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a lever flush on the non transfer side.
- There is no dropdown rail.
- Grab rails in the toilet include: a horizontal grab rail on the non transfer side and a vertical grab rail on the non transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a soap dispenser and a towel dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin with lid.
- There are no coat hooks.
- There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
