Getting to the Room (1002)

The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
From the reception desk, take a right and head past the lifts. Continue straight on through fire doors and into the room corridor. Room 1002 is on the left hand side.
The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and manual doors.
The majority of walkway widths on the route to the room are between 120cm and 180cm.
Some flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.

All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
There is step-free level access into the room.
The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast.
The room door opening is 80cm wide.
The bed type is double.
The top of the mattress is 55cm from the floor.
The space under the bed is 2cm high.
Furniture can be moved to enable a turning space (150cm x 150cm) next to the bed .
