Entrance

- The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
- There are automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.
- The width of the door opening is 148cm.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- There is a reception desk with a lowered area, which is too high for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
- The width of the rear exit doors is 148cm. The height of the reception desk is 113cm.
Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception, restaurants, a gym and sports courts.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs, lift and ramp.
- There is step-free level access to the reception area, the toilets with adaptations for disabled people, the standard toilets, the lift to the Sports Bar, the entertainment area, some of the activities and the rear exit door.
There is step-free access via lift to the Sports Bar, the gym and the spa. - There is step-free access via a steep ramp to the main entrance doors.
- The floors that can be accessed from the lift are -1 to 0.
- The lift door opening width is 89cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 117cm x 137cm.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Reception - Left Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens by sliding and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 84cm.
- The toilet door has a hook lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 370cm x 182cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the left of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 196cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a soap dispenser and a towel dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin with lid.
- There are no coat hooks.
- There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
- There is a diagonal grab rail on the non transfer side of the toilet.
Toilet (Reception)
