Access Guide
Resort Information
- The resort is located in the Port d'es Torrent area of Ibiza.
- This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people, a shop, beach access, a sports court, a gym, a swimming pool, a splash park, a water park, a fitness suite and a sauna. There may be additional charges for some of these facilities, for more information please contact TUI or the resort.
- The resort has 476 rooms available. 10 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people
- Adjoining rooms are not available.
- There are slight and steep ramp/slopes and steps around the resort. All areas except for the lower ground floor are step-free with ramps and internal lifts.
- There are 4 restaurants.
- There are 2 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- There is a shop.
- The shop has step-free access.
- The shop has door widths over 75cm.
- None of the shops have room to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: step-free standard toilets, a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people, standard toilets and standard changing rooms.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found in the reception foyer area and in the water park and by the infinity pool.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found in the reception foyer area, outside Nautilus pub, by the infinity pool and at the water park.
- Baby change facilities can be found in the water park and in the standard toilets in the reception foyer.
- The resort has the following available: bath mats.
- There is a medication fridge available on request.
- Guests cannot hire mobility equipment from the resort.
- Guests can hire mobility equipment locally.
- The resort has a list of local suppliers.
- Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.
- Mobility scooters can be stored and charged near the reception area.
- We have been told that assistance dogs are allowed in most areas of the resort.
- Assistance dogs are able to stay with guests in rooms with adaptations for disabled people.

- Guests can bring food for assistance dogs which can be stored at reception.

Getting Around the Resort
- There are slight and steep ramp/slopes and steps around the resort. All areas except for the lower ground floor are step-free with ramps and internal lifts.
- The paths around the resort are made from: tiles and block paving.
- There are bench seats and single seats with armrests along the pathways.
- The paths are not illuminated.
Entrance (Main Entrance)
- The entrance to the resort is located on Carrer des Caló.
- There is step-free access via slope at the entrance to the resort.
- The slope is steep, over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 164cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
- There is a second set of manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.

Entrance (Exit to Poolside)
- The entrance to the resort is located on the pool side of the hotel.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the resort.
- The ramp is steep, over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There are manual doors at the entrance, which is permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 164cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
- There is a second set of manual doors at the entrance, which are permanently open.
- The width of the door opening is 171cm.
- The doors have a low colour contrast.
Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- The reception desk is too high for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.
- There is hard flooring.
- The flooring is shiny and patterned.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest in the reception area.
- There is background noise which varies depending on the time of day.
Counter (Guest Services)
- There is step-free level access to the counter.
- The counter has windows which may affect the ability of someone to lip read.
- The counter is too high for a wheelchair user.
- The counter does not have a hearing assistance system.

- The flooring is shiny and patterned.
- There are high tables available in the counter area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).

Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception, a shop, bars, restaurants and a gym.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via ramp, stairs and lift.
- The following areas have step-free level access: Rooms 4101 - 4134, 4201 - 4234, 4301 - 4316.
- The following areas have step-free access via steep or very steep ramps or slopes: Lounge Bar, Buffet, Bucanero Bar.
- The following areas do not have step-free access: Gym and Pub Nautilus.
- There is hard flooring.
- Some flooring is shiny and patterned.
- The majority of walkway widths are between 120cm and 180cm, with high colour contrast between the walls and floor.
- Lighting levels are low in some areas.
Stairs (Main Staircase)
- The floors which are accessible by stairs are 0, 1, 2 and 3.
- There are 15+ steps between floors with resting points (landings).
- The stairs have handrails on both sides.
Lift
- The lift is located to the left of reception.
- The floors that can be accessed from this lift are 0, 1, 2 and 3 .
- This lift is a standard lift.
- Externally the lift has: a door with a low colour contrast to the surroundings, tactile markings, buttons with a medium colour contrast to the surroundings, controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm) and Braille markings.
- The lift does have a recommended turning space (150cm x 150cm) in front of it.
- The lift door opening width is 79cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 94cm x 127cm.
- Internally the lift has; Braille markings, controls at a recommended height (between 90cm - 120cm), a visual floor indicator, tactile markings, buttons with a high colour contrast to the surroundings and a mirror to aid reversing.
Stairs (Gym & Pub Nautilus)
- The floors which are accessible by stairs are 0 and -1.
- There are 15+ steps between floors with resting points (landings).
- The stairs have handrails on both sides.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Male - No Lateral Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is no signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 83cm.
- The toilet door has a hook lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 140cm x 213cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is not a lateral transfer space next to the toilet.
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the seat.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: a toilet roll holder on the dropdown rail.
- The following have a less clear colour contrast with their surroundings: both dropdown rails, the internal toilet door, the toilet seat and the floor.
- There is no emergency alarm.
- The toilet has no mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has no disposal facilities.

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Female - No Lateral Transfer)

- There is not a lateral transfer space next to the toilet.
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on both sides of the seat.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: a toilet roll holder on the dropdown rail.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
- The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: the toilet seat (not at 48cm).

- The width of the door into the toilet cubicle is not over 75cm.
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
- There is a baby change facility which is not at a recommended height (75cm).
Themed Restaurants
- There are three themed restaurants available, Grill restaurant, American restaurant and an Italian restaurant.
- The American and Italian restaurants are located on the main road at the front of the resort.
- The Grill restaurant is located at the front left of the resort, by the kids' club.
- The Italian restaurant is accessed via a steep slope.
- The American Restaurant is accessed via a step.
- The Grill restaurant is accessed via a steep slope or steps.
- Hotel guests get two free meals per week to any of the themed restaurants.
