Resort Information

  • The resort is located on the north coast of Crete in the area of Hersonissos.
  • This resort has the following facilities: a toilet with adaptations for disabled people, a toilet with some adaptations for disabled people, shops, a spa, beach access, a playground, a sports court, a gym, a swimming pool, a splash park, a water park, a fitness suite and a sauna. There may be additional charges for some of these facilities, for more information please contact TUI or the resort.

  • The resort is mostly on sloping ground as it descends down towards the beach. Access is via slopes and steps. Other than the beach, all steps can be bypassed by using slopes or by taking an alternative route.

  • Some shops have step-free access.
  • All the shops have door widths over 75cm.
  • None of the shops have room to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
  • Toilet and changing facilities available include: accessible toilets, toilets with some adaptations for disabled people, ambulant cubicles, step-free standard toilets, standard toilets and standard changing rooms.
  • Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found in the Artemis Restaurant, under the Pergola Snack Bar, overlooking the beach, in the Sports Bar and in the Azzuro Italian a la carte restaurant.
  • Standard toilet facilities can be found in the basement of the main building, in the Spa and Wellness Centre, under the La Pergola Snack Bar, overlooking the beach, in the Tennis and Sports Centre next to the indoor pool, in the Artemis Restaurant, in the Azzurro Italian a la carte Restaurant, next to the Dionysus Bar, next to the large outdoor pool, next to the small outdoor pool, next to the Poseidon Pool, in the Sports Bar and just before the entrance to the Water park.
  • Baby change facilities can be found in the Sports bar.
  • There is a medication fridge at the reception.
  • Guests cannot hire mobility equipment from the resort.
  • Guests can hire mobility equipment locally.
  • The resort has a list of local suppliers.

  • We have been told that assistance dogs are not allowed in the resort.

Accommodation Buildings

  • Accommodation at the Nana Golden Beach is located in the main hotel building and also in separate buildings throughout the resort.
  • Accommodation in the main building is either step-free level or step-free level by lift.
  • Most other accommodation in separate buildings is not step free.

Entrance

  • The entrance to the building is located at the front of the main building.
  • There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance to the building.
  • The ramp is steep, between 75cm and 150cm wide, with a handrail on the right going up.

  • There are automatic doors at the entrance, which open by sliding.

Reception

Getting Around the Building

  • This building contains a main reception, a shop, bars and a gym.

Getting Around the Resort

  • The resort is mostly on sloping ground as it descends down towards the beach. Access is via slopes and steps. Other than the beach, all steps can be bypassed either by using ramps or by using an alternative route.
  • The paths around the resort are made from: block paving.
  • There are bench seats along the pathways.
  • All the paths are illuminated.
  • There are club carts available for all guests, which are used to overcome the ramps/slopes and steps.
  • Wheelchair users will need to transfer into the club carts.
