Resort Information
- The TUI Blue Atlantica Belvedere is located in Helona Beach in the south of Kos.
- This adults-only resort provides accommodation in 14 buildings, some of which have 2 or 3 storeys. It is accessible via step-free level pathways, with some ramps and slopes of varying degrees. There are 3 lifts. There are buggies to transport guests around the resort.
- This resort has the following facilities: rooms with some adaptations for disabled people, swimming pools and restaurants.
- The resort has 238 rooms available. 6 of these rooms have adaptations for disabled people.
- Adjoining rooms are not available.
- There are 2 restaurants.
- There are 2 swimming pools (excluding room pools).
- Toilet and changing facilities available include: toilets with some adaptations for disabled people and step-free standard toilets.
- Toilet facilities with some adaptations for disabled people can be found on level 1, via lift.
- Standard toilet facilities can be found on level 1, via lift.
- There is a medication fridge at the reception.
- Guests cannot hire mobility equipment from the resort.
- Guests can hire mobility equipment locally.
- The resort has a list of local suppliers.
- Guests can use their own mobility scooter at the resort.
- Mobility scooters can be stored and charged in an area of the reception lobby. A wheelchair is available to borrow at the resort.
- We have been told that assistance dogs are allowed in most areas of the resort.

Reception
- There is step-free level access to reception.
- There is a reception desk with a lowered area, which is too high for a wheelchair user.
- The reception does not have a hearing assistance system.

Getting Around the Building
- This building contains a main reception, shops, restaurants and a gym.
- The building has multiple floors which can be accessed via stairs and lift.
- There is step-free level access the reception lobby to the entertainment area and the lifts.

- The floors that can be accessed from the lift are -1 to 2.
- The lift door opening width is 80cm.
- The dimensions of the lift are 108cm x 207cm.
- There are buggies available to transport guests around the resort.
Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Level 1 - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet, via lift.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 80cm.
- The toilet door has a twist lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 209cm x 215cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 90cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on top of the cistern.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- Fixtures within the toilet include: a toilet roll holder, a wash basin, a hand dryer, a soap dispenser and a towel dispenser.
- The toilet has a mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a pedal bin.
- There are no coat hooks.
Toilet (Level 1)
