Access Guide
Getting to (Main Pool Bar)
- The bar is next to the Main Upper Pool, in the grounds behind the main building.
Access to the bar varies depending on where the guest's room is.
For those in the main building the bar can be reached using either of the lifts.
For those in the accommodation blocks, the bar can be reached using the ramps or steps throughout the grounds. - To view information about this lift click here (new tab)
- The nearest toilet with adaptations for disabled people is on Level 1 of the main building, next to the main accommodation lift, please click here for more information (new tab)
Bar
- There is step-free level access into the bar area.
- The bar serves drinks.
- The following are available: drinking straws, takeaway cups, a portable card machine for payment and room charge.
- There is background noise which varies, depending on the time of day.
- None of the counters are at the recommended height for wheelchair users (between 76cm - 85cm) .
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The flooring outside is hard.
Seating
- There is step-free level access into the seating area.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- There is space for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre in the seating area (150cm x 150cm).
- The seating includes: chairs with armrests.
- The tables are not suitable for wheelchair users (between 70cm - 80cm and free from obstruction).
- The flooring outside is hard.
- There may be background noise.
