Getting to the Room (2409)

The average walking time to the room is 2 minutes.
From reception, take a right and proceed along the wide hallway past the shops.
Once past the shops, proceed through the manual doors on the left and turn right into the rooms corridor. The manual doors are 150cm wide and open both ways.
Continue along the corridor until you reach room 2409 on the left.
The most accessible route to the room has step-free level access and manual doors.
The majority of the walkways on route to the room are over 180cm.
The flooring on the route is shiny and patterned.
Please note there are approximately 20 steps to access the superior rooms in the adult area, with no lift access.

This room has adaptations for disabled people. There are 2 rooms of this type in the resort.
All rooms with adaptations for disabled people are similar to the one surveyed.
There is step-free level access into the room.
The room door is manual, opens inwards and has a high colour contrast.
The room door opening is 90cm wide.
The bed type is double.
The top of the mattress is 60cm from the floor.
The space under the bed is 10cm high.
There is room for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed (150cm x 150cm).
The room does not have an emergency alarm.
There is hard flooring.
The width of the door to the terrace is 100cm.
The transfer space to the right of the bed is 245cm.

The ensuite door opens towards you and has an opening width of 90cm.
There is not room for a wheelchair user to turn in the ensuite (150cm x 150cm).
There is hard flooring.
The facilities in the ensuite include: a toilet, a shower without a step and a wash basin.
There is a lateral transfer space on the left hand side of the toilet with a minimum width of 98cm .
Fixtures within the ensuite include: a soap dispenser and a toilet roll holder.
There is no dropdown rail.
Grab rails in the ensuite include: a horizontal grab rail at the shower.
There is not a turning space in the shower for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
Please note the handrail in the shower and the toilet seat are quite low.
