Getting Around the Resort

  • The paths around the resort are made from: concrete, tiles, stone, artificial grass, block paving and grass.
  • The following areas have step-free access via slight ramps or slopes: the pool area, the rooms with adaptations for disabled people and the beach.
  • The following areas have step-free access via steep or very steep ramps or slopes: the beach.

Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Pool Area - Right Hand Transfer)

  • There is step-free level access into the toilet.
  • There is no signage on or near the toilet door.
  • The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
  • The width of the toilet door opening is 75cm.
  • The toilet door has a hook lock.
  • The dimensions of the cubicle are 120cm x 130cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
  • There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
  • The lateral transfer space is 100cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
  • There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
  • The following grab rails are available: a horizontal grab rail on the non-transfer side.
  • There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
  • The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
  • The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin and towel dispenser.
  • The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the toilet roll holder (between 80cm - 100cm) and the soap dispenser (between 80cm - 100cm).
  • The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: the toilet seat (not at 48cm), the wash basin (not between 72cm - 74cm) and towel dispenser (not between 80cm - 100cm).
