Toilet with Adaptations for Disabled People (Pool Area - Right Hand Transfer)
- There is step-free level access into the toilet.
- There is no signage on or near the toilet door.
- The toilet door is manual, opens inwards and has a low colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 75cm.
- The toilet door has a hook lock.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 120cm x 130cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the toilet as you look at it.
- The lateral transfer space is 100cm (from the side of the toilet pan to the wall).
- There is a push button flush on the wall above the cistern.
- The following grab rails are available: a horizontal grab rail on the non-transfer side.
- There is a dropdown rail on the transfer side.
- The following fixtures can be reached from the toilet seat: the toilet roll holder.
- The following fixtures cannot be reached from the toilet seat: the wash basin, the soap dispenser and towel dispenser.
- The following fixtures are at the recommended height: the toilet roll holder (between 80cm - 100cm) and the soap dispenser (between 80cm - 100cm).
- The following fixtures are not at the recommended height: the toilet seat (not at 48cm), the wash basin (not between 72cm - 74cm) and towel dispenser (not between 80cm - 100cm).
- The wash basin tap type is lever mixer.
- The following have a high colour contrast with their surroundings: the internal toilet door and the floor.
- The following have a less clear colour contrast with their surroundings: the grab rail, the dropdown rail and the toilet seat.
- There is no emergency alarm.
- The toilet has no mirror.
- There is no shelf in the toilet.
- The cubicle has a waste bin without lid.
- There are no coat hooks.
- The toilet has a wheel in shower.
- There is a flip-down shower seat at a height of 50cm.
- The shower has a fixed shower head and twist/turn controls.
