- The Student Centre is a large building with 8 floors.
- There are 3 main lifts and 3 main staircases within the building.
- The floors are signed as B2 (Basement 2), B1 (Basement 1), G (Ground floor), M (Mezzanine floor), floors 1, 2, 3 and 4.

- The venue does not have its own car park.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free and level off Gordon Street.
- The Student Centre has three entrances.
- The main entrance off Gordon Street has step-free level access via automatic double doors.
- There is a Ground floor entrance to the rear of the building with step-free level access via a single automatic door.
- Off the Japanese Terrace to the rear of the building there is a slight ramp bypassing steps leading to the Mezzanine floor entrance. The Mezzanine floor entrance has a single automatic door.
- The main entrance is signed as Student Centre.
- The other two entrances are not signed.
- The main entrance leads into the Ground floor of the building.
- The rear Ground floor entrance leads into the lower part of the Ground floor towards the rear of the building.
- The Mezzanine floor entrance accesses the Mezzanine floor of the building.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the building on all floors.
- There are security barriers with a width of 90cm to access the main lifts on the Ground and Mezzanine floors. There are also smaller barriers to access the lifts with a width of 55cm.
- There are security barriers to access the stairs leading to Basement 2, Basement 1, floors 1, 2, 3, and 4 with a width of 55cm.
- There are eight clearly marked steps on the Ground floor between the front and the rear of the building with handrails on either side. These steps can be bypassed by a platform lift.
- There is a counter signed as the Student Help Point on the Mezzanine floor.
- This counter has a portable hearing loop.
- Floor surfaces along some of the circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
- Other circulation routes are carpeted.
- There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
- Overhead and wall mounted wayfinding signage is provided throughout the building.
- There are not manual doors in any circulation corridors, only to access some stairwells, toilets, baby change and shower facilities areas.
