Getting To The Hospital

By Road View
- The hospital is situated on Greetwell Road which is just to the east of Lincoln City centre. The hospital is clearly signposted from all major routes which include the A46, the A158 and the A15. If you are dropping someone off at the hospital there are allocated drop off points, located near to all entrances to the hospital.
- The main car park is located directly outside the main entrance to the hospital. As you enter, please take a ticket from the entrance barrier. You need to keep your ticket with you and pay at the pay station on your way back to your car. Patient and visitor car parks that are not barrier controlled operate a pay and display system. You can find a space and then purchase a ticket from one of the pay and display machines.
By Bus View
- There is an onsite bus stop which is located close to the main entrance. You can use Traveline to start to plan your journey by bus.
By Train View
- The nearest station is Lincoln which is 1.5 miles away. To view the route use the Google Maps link below.

Getting Help and Assistance

There is a Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) at the hospital.
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is located in a corridor just beyond the main reception area.

There are volunteers available for help and assistance at the hospital.
Volunteers do not receive disability awareness / equality training.
Hospital staff do receive disability awareness / equality training.
Volunteers can be found at main reception and in some of the wards.
Hospital staff receive Deaf Awareness training.
The alternative formats documents can be provided in include; Braille on request, large print on request, Makaton on request, different languages on request, voice recognition CD on request and audio on request.
There is not an assistance dog toilet or toileting area on the hospital site.
Water bowls for assistance dogs are available.
BSL interpreters can be provided on request.
Language interpreters can be provided on request.
Language interpreters can be provided in the following languages; Polish, Russian, Mandarin, Latvian, Lithuanian and Portuguese.
Mobility aids are available to help patients move around and include; wheelchairs.
