Introduction
- Services / facilities within the building include ENT OPD, Records Prep, Community Dieticians, Audiology, Speech & Language Therapy, Pharmacy, Maternity Hub, Orthopaedics OPD, Orthotics, Plaster Suite, Radiology, Resus Training, Bowel Screening, Dermatology and a few surgical sessional clinics.
Getting To The Hospital

By Road
View
- Royal South Hants Hospital is located in the centre of Southampton Town Centre on St Mary's Road. From the A3024 take the third exit on the roundabout onto Charlotte Place and bear left onto St Mary's Road. Take the second right onto Brintons Terrace and this leads you to the car park and hospital entrance.
From the A355 (Onslow Road) take the left turn onto St Mary's Road and then the first left onto Brintons Terrace which leads you to the car park and hospital entrance. - There are four car parks onsite for visitors, Car Park A, D, E and F. Car Park A and F are standard parking with a barrier at each entrance and car park E is for Blue Badge holders only. Car Park D is for staff only. All four of these car parks are located at the front of the hospital. There is also additional parking at the back of the hospital with limited spaces.

By Bus

- There is not a bus stop on site, however there are two bus stops on either side of St Mary's Road within 50m of the hospital site. One is situated on the hospital side of the road, the services that stop here are the 606 and UBC. The other is situated on the other side of St Mary's Road. The services that stop here are the U1N, U6, U6H.

By Train

- The nearest railway station is Southampton Central which is 1.1 miles from the hospital (23 minute walk). To walk to the hospital from the station entrance, cross the bridge to Blechynden Terrace and turn right. Proceed along this road as it merges into West Park Road until you reach the crossroads. Turn left onto Cumberland Place and follow this road around Watts Park until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Charlotte Place and then bear left onto St Mary's Road. Take the second right onto Brintons Terrace and this leads you to the hospital entrance.
Getting Help and Assistance
- There is not a Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) at the hospital.
