There is a path leading from Brendon Court to the access road crossing.
The surface of the path is tarmac.
After approximately 20m along the path turn left.
The surface of the path when turned changes to smooth tarmac. It is slightly uneven where the surface changes.
There is an easy slope leading towards the access road crossing. The gradient increases slightly as you get towards the bottom.
Follow the path to the left towards the crossing. There are bollards here, limiting the width of the path to 104cm. The path surface is slightly uneven just beyond the bollards.

There is a path leading from the access road crossing to the Parade.
The surface of the path starts off as concrete.
It is uneven in places, and there is an easy slope after approximately 4m leading down to the service road to the rear of 1 West North. The path here is 115cm wide.
Turn right on to the service road, with the 1 West North building located on the right.
The surface of the path now becomes smooth tarmac, with drain covers in places. This path has a very slight gradient leading up.
After approximately 31m there is an easy ramp or 2 clearly marked medium height steps. The steps have tactile paving at the top and bottom.
The ramp bypasses the steps and both have handrails on both sides.
The surface from the ramp onwards is block paving with drain covers. After approximately 22m, the path has a sight gradient leading upwards. At the top, there is a thin line of drain covers followed by a small area of tarmacked shingle as you join The Parade.

The surface of the Parade area leading to the Library is made up of large flag stones which are uneven in places.
After approximately 13m on the Parade turn left and then continue straight for 20m.
The library is located on the left.
