Introduction
- The Exchange is a building where it will use the University's research, teaching facilities and local, national and international networks to create a place of curiosity, collaboration and change.
- The building is open to the general public between 08:00 – 17:00.
Getting Here

By Road
View
- The Exchange can be reached via the M5, M6, M40 and M42. Follow signs to the city centre.
From the M5, leave the motorway at Junction 3 and follow the A456 towards the city centre.
From the M40, M6, M69 and M42 follow the M6 to Junction 6 and then the A38 towards the city centre.
From the North-West M6 or West M54 follow the M6 to Junction 7 then the A34 towards the city centre. - There is no parking for the building. Paradise Circus public car park is just over 200 metres from this building, to the rear of the library.
- The Exchange can be reached via the M5, M6, M40 and M42. Follow signs to the city centre.

By Bus

- The nearest bus stop to this building is the Baskerville House stop on Cambridge Street, which is approximately 200 metres away. The buses that stop here include the 9 Platinum, 10, 12, 12A, 13, 13A, 23 Platinum, 24 Platinum, 126, X8 Platinum and X10 Platinum, which connect the city centre with numerous areas of the city and the West Midlands.

- The nearest station is Birmingham New Street, which is served by Avanti West Coast, West Midlands Trains and Cross Country trains. It is approximately 0.5 miles from the building. A tram can be taken from the Grand Central stop, located just outside the station, to the Library stop, in Centenary Square.
