- Department of Plant Sciences (Plant Growth Facility and Herbarium) is a small building with a ground floor and a mezzanine for storage and authorised staff usage.
- There are 3 sets of stairs leading to the mezzanine.
- The floors are described as ground and mezzanine.
- The separate areas of the mezzanine do not connect with one another.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is along a gravel path.
- The only entrance into the building is via a manual door that opens towards you.
- The entrance is not signed.
- The main entrance is the only entrance into the building, and it accesses a foyer on the ground floor.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the ground floor.
- There is no access between the separate areas of the mezzanine floor accessed from steps situated in the lobby of Plant Growth Hall 1, Growth Rooms 1-9 and Growth Rooms 10-16.
- Floor surfaces are hard and smooth.
- There are seats are available in the lobby.
- There is limited signage within the building.

There are restricted walkways with width of less then 75cm in the laboratory areas.
