Getting Inside

The basement entrance provides stepped access to the basement floor of the building. There are key-card activated, double manual doors at the basement entrance.
The balcony entrance provides stepped access to the first floor. There is a key-card activated, single manual door at the balcony entrance. - The main entrance and common room entrance are signed as Faulkes Institute for Geometry - Pavilion E. The balcony entrance and the basement entrance are not signed.
- The main entrance provides step-free level access to the ground floor.
- The common room entrance is the closest entrance to the reception for the Centre for Mathematical Sciences.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the building on all floors, via a lift.
- There is restricted (key card) access in most internal circulation areas (particularly to access the Basement Floor).
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are carpeted and smooth.
- There are some study/resting areas in the circulation areas on the First Floor only. There are stools in this area.
