Overview

Getting Inside

  • There is step-free level approach from Tennis Court Road. This approach also has a gate which can only be opened with a key card.
    There is step-free access to the building via a very steep ramp from Fitzwilliam street. This approach has a gate which is permanently held open. The width of the gate is 90cm.
  • The Henry Wellcome Building has 1 main entrance, which provides step-free level access into the building.
  • The entrance is signed as The Henry Wellcome Building.
  • The main entrance provides step-free level access to the reception foyer on the ground floor.

Getting Around

  • There is step-free level access throughout the building on all floors.
  • Floor surfaces along some circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish. Some floor surfaces are carpeted.
  • There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
  • Wayfinding signage is not provided in this building.
  • There are manual doors in some corridors and lobby areas. There is a narrow corridor to access the toilet with adaptations on level 1.
