Access To
- IS1-04 Lecture Room 3 is located on the First Floor of the Inglis Building, on the West side of the building.

- The most accessible route has a very easy ramp or slope, steps, manual doors and shiny flooring.
- There is written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free access via slope into the lecture room.
- The slope has a slight gradient.
- Access to Lecture Room 3 is only via the IS Ground - 1-2 floor staircase.
- There are double manual doors which open towards you.
- One of the doors was locked at the time of the survey.
- The width of the opening is 72cm.
- The doors have a low visual contrast.
Teaching
- This is a lecture room.
- There is step-free level access throughout the majority of areas.
- The following areas have stepped access: the space in front of the whiteboard and projector screen.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- The flooring is patterned.
- Floor coverings are not even and could potentially cause a trip hazard.
- The walls and floor have a high visual contrast.
- Lighting levels vary due to the size of the space.
- Lighting levels are adjustable.
- There are no designated spaces for wheelchair users.
- There is space for an assistance dog to rest.
- Seating available in the room includes: chairs without armrests and high stools.
- Furniture available in the room includes: tables and height adjustable desks.
- The surface heights are suitable for wheelchair users.
- The clear underside space of the surfaces is suitable for wheelchair users.
- The speaker's desk/table is height adjustable.
- The height of the lectern is 92cm.
- The lectern is not height adjustable.
- This room has a projector screen and a whiteboard.
- There are wires and cable coverings as trip hazards at the front of the lecture room.
