Access To
- The Wolfson Lecture Theatre is located on the Ground Floor of the Department of Chemistry (Chemistry Building), ahead and to the right from the reception area.

- The most accessible route has step-free level access, manual doors and patterned flooring.
- There is written text signage on or near the entrance.
- There is step-free level access into the lecture theatre.
- There are double manual doors which open towards you.
- One of the doors was locked at the time of the survey.
- The width of the opening is 76cm.
- The doors have a high visual contrast.
- There is a small, raised threshold in the doorway.
- There is a second step-free level access door to the speakers' area, which is on the basement floor. It is a double-width, manual door. The minimum width of the door is 78cm. There is high colour contrast between the door and the walls.
Teaching
- This is a lecture theatre.
- There is step-free level access throughout the majority of areas.
- The following areas have stepped access: all seating between the first and back rows.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- The flooring is shiny and patterned.
- Floor coverings are not even and could potentially cause a trip hazard.

- Lighting levels vary due to the size of the space.
