Getting Inside
- There are approaches to the building to from the Microelectronics Research Centre which provide an uneven path to the main entrance.
These paths either pass the front of the building or the rear. - This building has 1 entrance.
The entrance consists of manual doors activated by a key card. - The main entrance can be access by either a slight ramp or a set of 7 steps.
Alternatively there are pathways on approach from the Microelectronics Research Centre entrance which are narrow that can be used to gain access.
Getting Around
- There is step-free access throughout the ground and first floors of the building.
There is no step-free access to the second floor, which contains rooms 41, 42 and 44. - Access to the second floor is only available via the staircase located to the rear left of the building.
- Floor surfaces in the ground floor foyer area, the first floor and second floor are carpeted.
The lab area on the ground floor has a floor surface with a hard and smooth surface which is shiny. - There is a resting area in the entrance foyer and on the first floor.
- There is wall mounted signage throughout most of the building.
