Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via a slight ramp.
- The Nanoscience Centre has two entrances. Both entrances provide step-free access via slight slopes to the ground floor.
There are key-card activated, double automatic doors available at both entrances. - The entrances are not signed.
- The accessible entrance provides step-free access via a ramp to the foyer on the ground floor.
- The main entrance is located on the North side of the building and has step-free access via a slight slope and uneven surfaces.
The accessible entrance is located on the South side of the building and has step-free access via a ramp.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the building on all floors.
- There is a slight slope in the main corridor through the middle of the building.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
- There are some seating areas in circulation routes including sofas in the common room just off the main corridor.
- Wayfinding signage is very limited in this building.
- There are manual doors to access some lobbies and corridors.
