Getting Here (City Campus - Heathfield Car Park)

  • By Road View
    • The postcode to use on Satnavs for the Heathfield Car Park Tower Building, is DD1 5EN. The City Campus is located between Perth Road and Hawkhill, to the west of Dundee city centre. The car park is on the northern edge. Dundee can be accessed via the A90 from the North and West or the A92 from the East and South.
    • Car parking on the city campus is for staff permit holders only Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:30. Staff, students, or visitors with a local authority issued Blue Badge may park for free, without a permit, in designated accessible parking bays only. Official visitors should contact the department they are visiting to arrange a temporary permit. Non permit holders may park outwith the standard parking times by paying an appropriate fee via the RingGo app. Fees for non-permit holders are applicable Monday to Friday from 17:30 to 00:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 00:00.
  • By Bus View
    • There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the campus.
    • The nearest bus stops on the south side of the campus are located on Perth Road. Bus routes 5, 5A, 16, 16B, 17, 36C, 39, 73, 73A and 204 all serve these stops. The nearest bus stops on the north side of the campus are located on Hawkhill. Bus routes 6, 22, 51 and 922 serve these stops.

    • Parking in University car parks and on the City Campus is limited to permit holders only between 08:00 and 17:30 Monday to Friday, with the exception of Blue Badge holders. Standard permit holders may park without payment at any time in a standard parking bay.
    • Blue Badge holders may park for free, without a permit, in designated accessible parking bays only.
    • Blue Badge holders may not park out with designated accessible spaces, or on single or double yellow lines. Parking in a standard parking bay requires a permit, even with a Blue Badge.
    • Non permit holders may park between 17:31 to 00:00 (or until time of car park closure) Monday to Friday, or 08:00 to 00:00 Saturday and Sunday (if open), upon payment of the appropriate fee on-line or by phone through RingGo. Details may be found on the university website.
    • Other permit and payment options are available as detailed on the website.
    • Parking is free between 00:00 and 08:00 Monday to Sunday for everyone. Please note however some car parks have limited opening hours, and gates will be closed out with those times.
