Overview

Getting Inside

  • The approach to the building is level and step-free.
  • 3 Professors' Square has seven entrances.
  • The external entrances provide stepped access to Level 2 or the lower floor on Level 1. There are single manual doors at both external entrances.
  • There are four internal link entrances from 1 Professor's Square, on Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 and one internal link entrance from 4 Professor's Square on Level 5.
  • All five internal link entrances provide step-free level access via single manual doors.
  • The main external entrances is signed as '3', all the other entrances are unsigned.
  • The main entrance provides stepped access to the foyer on Level 2.
  • The Level 1 entrance is located down to the right of the main entrance and provides stepped access down to the lower level.

Getting Around

  • There is stepped access throughout the building on all floors.
  • Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth.
  • There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
  • Wayfinding signage is not provided throughout the building.
  • There are not manual doors in any circulation corridors, only to access the Level 1 stairwell from Level 2.
