Overview

Getting Inside

  • The approach to the building is level and step-free.
  • The Stair Building has four entrances.
  • Two external entrances provide stepped access to Level 2. There are single manual doors at both external entrances.

Getting Around

  • There is stepped access throughout the majority of the building on all floors.
  • Level 1 can be accessed step-free via the internal link entrance from The Law Workshop.
  • There are 8 steps (4 up, and 4 down) on Level 3 between No. 5-7 (Rooms 324, 325, 329 and 330) and No. 8 (Rooms 321-322 and the female toilet) at the No. 8 staircase.
  • Stepped access to Level 1 is via the No. 5 stairs.
  • Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth.
  • There are resting areas in some circulation areas with a mixture of seating.

    • The female standard toilet facilities are located on Levels 3 and 4, through to the left from the No.8 stairs.
    • The male standard toilet facilities are located on Levels 3 and 4, through to the right from the No.8 stairs.
