- 5-9 Professors' Square (Stair Building) is a very large building with 4 floors.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is level and step-free.
- The Stair Building has four entrances.
- Two external entrances provide stepped access to Level 2. There are single manual doors at both external entrances.
- The internal link entrance from The Law Workshop provides step-free access to Level 1.
- There is also an internal link entrance from 10 Professors' Square on Level 4.
- There are single manual doors at both internal link entrance.
- The external entrances are signed as numbers 8 and 5.
- The internal link entrances are unsigned.
- The No. 8 entrance provides stepped access to the reception foyer on Level 2.
- The No.5 entrance is located at the right of the building and has stepped access.
- The Level 1 internal link entrance is located to the left of The Law Workshop and has step-free level access.
- The Level 4 internal link entrance is located to the left from the stairs in 10 Professors' Square and has step-free level access.
Getting Around
- There is stepped access throughout the majority of the building on all floors.
- Level 1 can be accessed step-free via the internal link entrance from The Law Workshop.
- There are 8 steps (4 up, and 4 down) on Level 3 between No. 5-7 (Rooms 324, 325, 329 and 330) and No. 8 (Rooms 321-322 and the female toilet) at the No. 8 staircase.
- Stepped access to Level 1 is via the No. 5 stairs.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth.
- There are resting areas in some circulation areas with a mixture of seating.
- Wall mounted wayfinding signage is provided throughout the building.

- The female step-free standard toilet facilities are located through to the right as you enter via the No. 8 entrance.
- The male step-free standard toilet facilities are located through to the left as you enter via the No. 8 entrance (this toilet is staff only).
- The female standard toilet facilities are located on Levels 3 and 4, through to the left from the No.8 stairs.
- The male standard toilet facilities are located on Levels 3 and 4, through to the right from the No.8 stairs.
